It is no secret that events such as conventions, meetings, conferences and tradeshows generate enormous income to our community through spending in hotels, restaurants, attractions, retail shops and on services.  In turn, that spending supports not only the people who work in these industries, but nearly every business and trade in the area.

What is less widely known is that many of these events were initiated by a Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area resident(s) who is a member of the sponsoring group or association. If you belong to a group that hosts national or regional meetings, tournaments, conferences, reunions, symposiums or events, we'd like to talk with you!  As a local resident who knows, loves and can help to "Champion" the area to Meeting & Event Planners and other key decision makers your involvement can have enormous impact.

An event with even a one-night hotel stay for 50 attendees boosts the Northern Kentucky economy by $14,667.  Over time, that impact is magnified. In 2012, Meetings & Conventions held in our three-county area generated a total economic impact of nearly $65 million for Northern Kentucky.
